STEPHEN J. TRUE

Stephen 'J. True, who for several years operated a Barber Shop at 1016 E. Main St., died Tuesday, June 28, at the Hart Memorial Home at Crawfordsville. He was born at Kouts, Ind., on December 11, 1878. He was married to Elizabeth Mae Lewis at Kouts. In 1909 he moved to DeMotte, where he operated a barber shop with his brother, Roy, and later moved to a farm there. In 1935. he moved to Crawfordsville, where he lived until he passed away. Surviving are the widow, four children, Donald Tiue of Crawfordsville; Mark, of Hammond; Ava Brown of Ladoga, Ind.; Bonnie Delano of New Market, Ind. One brother, Roy, of DeMotte; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Wesley Methodist church with burial at the Wesley cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Ward and Mrs. Mary Ward of Montpellier, Indiana, visited Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ely and son over the week end. The latter remained for a two weeks visit with her daughter.
