' Indianapolis, Ind., July 6. Announcement of the liberation of more than 1,500 pheasants is

made by the Indiana Department of Conservation bringing the total of such game birds released this year to 5,512. Hovey Pritchett, supervisor of

game farms and preserves, division of fish and game, said that he and, his men have released seventy-two old pheasants in each of twenty-one counties in the state. Previous releases have tak-
