GROSS TAX TAKE UP

Indianapolis, July 6. Gross Income Tax collections i n the 1948-49 fiscal year reached a record high of $72,714,932 John F. Mee, state revenue commissioner announced today. The total was $7,560,810 more than the previous high of the 1947-48 fiscal year. Mrs. Frances Zeck and Mrs Neola True attended the funeral of Mr. Steve True at Crawfordsville last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Zylstra visited Mr. Gerben Kooy in Michigan last week.
