DEMOTTE CAR HIT BY HEBRON VEHICLE

Due ty an error this article was omitted from last week’s paper. The 1947 Hudson belonging to Art Legeveeif Sr,, was hit head on early Sunday morning. June 19, while it was parked at the Berdine service station- on the Northwest edge of Hebron. The accident happened when Richard Carr of Hebron, driving a 1937 Studebaker and traveling northwest on 53 went off the pavement straight into the parked Legeveen car. Art Jr., and Norman Chappell were in the front seat and Don Chappell and Bob Dwyer in the back. Art received forehead and nose cuts and Norman a rather severe knee cut. Carr was alone in the Studebaker. Damage on the Studebaker was done to the fender grill, bumper, hood and frame. Damage on the Hudson included radiator, lights, grill, hood, steering wheel, back of front seat, windshield, etc., the total damage amount to more than $500.00. State police investigated.
