MISS ERNA PINGLE BRIDE OF ROBERT ECKERT
The marriage of Miss Erna M. Pingle to Robert P. Eckert of San Pierre, Ind., was performed Saturday evening, June 25, at the Evangelical and Reformed church parsonage in Francesville. Indiana, with the Rev. E. H. Guinther reading the double ring ceremony. The bride, a daughter of Mrs. Clara Pingle of Medaryville, Indiana, wore a street length dress of white linen with navy blue accessories and had as her corsage an orchid with stephanotis arranged around it. The maid of honor, her sister, Miss Helen Pingle chose blue for her dress and she wore a corsage of pink roses and carnations. The bridegroom and his best man. Mr. Ray Kroft, also of Medaryville wore white carnations boutonniei res. Following the wedding ceremony a reception was held in the C.S.A. Lodge Hall in North Jud--son. Indiana,- -for apprbximatey 350 relatives and friends. Mr. Eckert attended school in Medaryville High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Ball State Teachers College of Muncie. For the past three yedrs she has taught the third grade room in the locaL school. Mr. Eckert attend school in San Pierre and was in the service for 26 months. 19 i?f them having been in the Philippine and Japanese theater’s of war. At present he is employed with his father, operating a crahie.
