MOODY CHORALE TO SING AT FIRST REFORMED CHURCH
The 44-voice Moody Chorale, from Moody Bible Institute. Chicago, will sing at the First Re-
formed church, Friday, July 8, at 7:45 p.m. Coming from 15 states, members of the Chorale are students at the Institute and are all preparing to become pastors, missionaries, evangelists or other Christian workers. The Chorale strives to carry on the Institute tradition for outstanding church music. For years, the school has trained many of the best known Christian musicians. and names such as Alexander, Prothero, Loveless, Towner and Schuler have been associated with it. Organized in 1946, the Chorale makes annual spring concert tours and has participated in many Institute functions. Forty-four members of- the Chorale comprised this year’s touring group which visited churchs in eight states. At present the Chorale is making weekend tours of churchs in Michigan and Indiana.
