SUPERVISED PLAY BEING STARTED AT SCHOOL PLAYGROUND
A tentative schedule of Tuesday and Friday afternoons from two to five o’clock has been arranged for supervised play periods at the high school playground and recreation field. Supervision will be in charge of Coach Jones of the local high school. Boys and girls, or late pre-scheel age, are welcome to use the playground and the equipment that will be provided at these times on the two days listed. Should the need arise, the two-day schedule may be changed to suit the greater number of participants. Organized team play in various games, such as basketball, softball and volleyball may be conducted at the wish of those taking part. Group parties, such as 4-H clubs, and birthday party groups are especially invited to make use of the playground facilities. For those who are of high school age and older, beginning and intermediate tennis instruction can be arranged for the same days, that is, Tuesday and Friday afernoons. Balls and rackets, in limited numbers, can be furnished.
