Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fanuchi and children, Madeline Rose and Joe of Santa Barbara, Calif., spent a few days with the Ruby Dolezal and John Boback families. Mrs. Fanuchi is tiie former Anna Jogato, a niece to Mrs. Boback. Walter Myers and the Wheatfield Senior class enjoyed a trip to Turkey Run State Park. Walter took the bus load. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Myers attended the wedding ceremony of her sister, Miss Shannon Frame and Boyd Cropean. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shroyer of Valparaiso, a son, Larry Harold on June 4th in Porter Memorial hospital. Mrs. Shroyer is the former Gladys Fasten, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garry Fasten. Recent guests in the Charles Jasperson home were: Mrs. Henry Olsen and daughter, Mr.* and Mrs. Howard Olsen and Phillip Smith of Elkhart, Mrs. Tillie Sorensen and Ed Nelson of Maywood, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sorensen of Elkhart, Mrs. Marian Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Berg of Chicago and Clarence Nelson of Osceola, Ind. Mrs. Vivian Delehanty has purchased the Wayne Jones residence and business building. Mrs. Delehanty has been associated with Wayne and wife in their Crawfordsville restaurant. Maurice Darner and son, Tom, of California, have been visiting Omar Darner and family. Mr. and .Mrs. Max Ott have purchased the School-House Inn, restaurant from Mrs, Barbara Feane of Chicago. The Needle .and Thimble Club will have them last meeting this summer on June 17th in the home of Mrs. Lowell Woolever. The Lion’s club held election of officers recently. Those elected were: Floyd Clark, president; Gerald Ranisford, Ist vice-presi-dent; Julian Fulaytar, 2nd vicepresident; Clarence E. Beck, 3rd vice-president; Harry Nelson, Secretary; Miles Devine, treasurer; Robert Ferns, tail twister; Walter Myers, lion tamer. Trustees for two years terms are John McNeil and Jack Smith. Trustees for 1 year term are Howard Postma and Joe Hilliard. . The Wheatfield American Legion post No. 406 held election of officers. Those who were elected follow: Olan Minor Jr., commander; Paul Scott, vice commander; Charles Steele, adjutant; Frankie Grube, financial officer; Billy Stembel, sargeant of arms; Carroll J. the parents of a daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Moeller Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Moeller Jr., of St. Louis, Mo., were recent guests in the Richard Myers home. Mrs. Albert Moeller Jr., and Mrs. Myers are sisters. Our sympathy to Mrs. Allen Fendig in the loss of her husband. Amy has been a Wheatfield resident for several years and is very well liked. Mrs. Wayne Jones of Crawfordsville visited her mother, Mrs. Wallace Murray recently. Mrs. Olan Minor Sr., was a recent visitor in Chicago.
