The 30-minute picture, which I is sponsored by Pacific Garden Mission, Chicago, uses a fastmoving documentary technique to 3how the mission’s work among the outcasts of Skid Row. In order to obtain ; realistic shots, Cavalcade Productions, who filmed “Out of the Night,” used a concealed camera for some sequences. Henry Ushijima, Cavalcade director, also revealed that the plot is based on actual case histories from the mission files. Pacific Garden Mission is the second oldest mission in the U. S., and is noted as the spiritual birthplace of Billy Sunday, renowned evangelist of a generation ago. According to Harry G.
