On April 25, a movie on vacuum Tubes was shown in Physics class. The total score of the April 22nd. track meet was: DeMotte, 75'2, Fair Oaks, 43, Remington 24V 2 and Tefft, 19. The next track meet is to he held Friday, April 29th, is the Kankakee Valley Tourney. Please try to come. It will start at 2:00 o’clock D.S.T. The Seniors will provide the refreshments. The first grade children will hold a party on April 29th, at 2:30 for tlie children who start to school next year. The first .grade really had a holiday when all the kids were playing host to the chicken pox. The Junior class presents “Me And My Shadow,” on Friday, April 29th. Reserved seats, 50e, adults 40c, and students 25c. Be sure to attend. Come! Come! Come! You will laugh at Samuel Lewis, Jim Coffer; Beverly Lewis, Marcella Nuss; Kate Lewis, Dorothy Schoonveld; Harry Jordan, Stanley Cheever; Julie Lewis, Edna DeFries; Velma Gordan, Annette Knip; V, ill Warren, Kenneth Heimlich; Gramma Lewis, Josephine VanderPloeg; Don Farley, Russel Hunter; Alice Merrill, Esther Nannenga. On April 2Gth the student body was entertained by a movie on David Capperfjeld the man. Mrs. W. B. Hughs is visiting her mother, Mrs. Waller. Joyce Zlystra celebrated her seventh birthday last Saturday with a party for her little friends. Mrs. Chas. Smith and son, Norman, of Chicago, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Heimlich a few days last week.
Miss Marie Int Veld and Miss Josephine Vanderploeg visited friends and relatives in Chicago Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ooms and children, formerly of Kersey, have moved into the Schultz property in North DeMotte.
