STILL IN AIR
Miami, Fla., April 5. - Bill Barris and Dick Reidel reached the two-thirds mark in their effort to break the world’s endurance record for airplanes today. The fliers, both of Fullerton, Calif., logged 484 continuous hours aloft in their tiny “Sunkist Lady” at 3:44 p.m. (EST) —two thirds of the way toward their attempt to better the 726-hour record established in 1939. The flight started March 15.
