ATTORNEY DIES

Quincy, 111., April 6. Edward

P. Allen, 6, veteran Democratic politician, attorney and public official, died today of a heart ailment. He had been in failing health for some time. He was chairman of the Democratic State central committee fronv 1942 to 1944.
