Mr. W. McClain and family of Chicago were week-end visitors at the home of his sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Middelkamp. Mrs. Richard Rice and children and her sister, Mrs. Harry McDaniels of Kersey visited their sister, Mrs. Glen Snow in Rensselaer Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Clay Cundif of Lowell spent Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Thies. Mr. Cundif is the agriculture teacher in Lowell. Norman Wilmington is home from Worsham College of Mortuary in Chicago after spending the wpek with his mother and sister Marion. Mrs. Bert Nelson is visiting her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Metcalfe in Chicago. Charles Lucas of Ft. Custer, Mich., is here on a fifteen day furlough, visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lucas and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kenchus. 'Sharon Lynn, daughter of
Edward Howard has been ill the past week. Mr. T. A. McClain is visiting his son in Mound, 111., and will also visit in Southern Illinois, and Kentucky. Mr. and Mrs. Clem East and family of Gai-y spent Sunday evening with the Holle family. Mrs. Robert Donnelly and daughter of Tempelton, Calif., are here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vein Michal. Louis Hielscher drove down on Saturday and took his mother back to his home in LaPorte. Mrs. Hielcher took a second fajl and had to x’eturn to her bed. Alvin Cambe has moved his family on the Wrn. Middelkamp farm in Kniman. The ceiling has been lowered in the M. E. Church which is newly papered. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph O’Connor of Wheatfield and Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Peterson attended a birthday party in Highland on Sunday in honor ow their niece, Mary Esther Stokes.
