A crowd of approximately 100 turkey breeders and raisers from Northern Indiana attended the annual banquet and meeting last Wednesday night, March 23, which was held by DeMotte Feed Sales and Service. The banquet was held at Mary’s Restaurant with Mr. Henry Starkey preparing a menu consisting of roast turkey and all the trimmings, topped off with pumpkin pie a la mode. At the meeting held in the high school gymnasium talks were givien by Dave Martin, poultry deI partment, Pillsbury Mills; Tiny Wilkelm, executive secretary, State Poultry Association and Henry I Mngus, turkey department, State | Poultry Association on turkey I management, future trends in turj keys, merchandising and jnarket- . irig and turkey broiler production. ! Every one attending enjoyed a , very infqrniative evening, as regards both /raising and eating turkey.
