WOODS FIRE BRINGS FIRE DEPT. ON RUN

The Volunteer Fire Department of DeMotte has been fairly busy putting out grass fires the past few weeks, the latest one being in the woods South of the R. E. Davis farm Northeast of town Monday afternoon, which left unhampered would have burned uncomfortably dose to several dwellings. The department recently receiva $5.00 donation from Mr. Ronnie Mosier for services rendered a few weeks ago, for which they wish to express their thanks.
