BAUMAN’S FEED MILL HOLDS DAIRY MEETING

Twenty leading dairymen of DeMotte and vicinity were guests of Bauman’s Feed Mill March 9th at the Lemke Hotel in Valparaiso, Ind. After a steak supper they listened to ‘Tiny’ Pratt of Purina Mills, who is the head of Dairy Cows in Northwestern U.S.A. Mr. Pratt gave a stirring talk on the breeding, management, sanitation ( and feeding of the Dairy calf and cow. Those present agreed that Mr. Pratt brought out many excellent points that would help them in many ways. Mrs. Fred Zeck entertained the Penochle club at her new home Tuesday evening.
