State Approves Nurse Appointment

Mrs. Robert Cover Enters Upon Duties As Jasper County Health Nurse The appointment of Mrs. Viola Cover by the county commissioners as county health nurse has been approved "by the state. Her office is in the courthouse. It will be open all week days until Saturday noon. The office is located in the former D.A.R. room. Telephone calls to the health nurse’s office will be made through the Selective Service office for the present. Mrs. Cover is a graduate of the Chicago Memorial Nurses’ Training school. She was on the visiting nurses’ staff of that hospital for one year before coming to Jasper county in 1931. Since that time she had worked at Jasper county hospital and as a private nurse.
