GRADE SCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

The Jasper County Grade School Basketball Tourney will get under way in the Rensselaer High School gym at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, March 3rd., when Rensselaer meets Tefft. As the drawings were made before the completion of the High School Sectional, the knowledge that many students and teachers would attend the Regional on Saturday, March sth., prompted the committee to rearrange the time for school participation. This was done without the pairings, as drawn, and it conforms to the original schedule in competition. * The following schedule lists pairings, as drawn, and the time games are to be played. Thursday, March 3, game 1, 6:30 —Rensselaer vs Tefft; Game 2, 7:‘3o—Fair Oaks vs Marion; Game 3, B:3o—Jordan vs Barkley. • Saturday, March 5, game 4, 1 o’clock, Kniman vs Gillam; game 6, 2 o’clock—Remington vs Parr; game 6, 3 o’clock—Newton vs Hanging Grove, game 7, 7 oclock -—Wheat field vs DcMotte; game 8, 8 o’clock—winners of games 2 and 3. Wednesday, March 9, game 9, 7 o’clock—Winners games 1 and 4; game 10, 8 oclock—Winners of games 5 and 6. Saturday, March 12—Game 11 1 o’clock—Winners of Games 8 and 9; Game 12, 2 o’clock—Winners of Games 7 and 10; Game 13, 8 o’clock—winners of games 11 and 12. A consolation game between the losers of Games 11 and 12 will be played at 7 o’clock Saturday evening, March 12.
