JURY AWARDS $2,000 IN DAMAGE ACTION

The Jasper circuit court jury last night returned a verdict for $2,000 damages in the case of Harry Van Trees of Columbus, 0., against Louis and James Wozniak of Valparaiso. The case was sent here on a change of venue from LaPorte county. The suit grew out of an automobile-truck collision. Van Trees based his suit on injuries received when his car was struck by the defendants’ gravel truck at the outskirts of Valparaiso. Mrs. Jack Evans and sons, Mike, and Tommy spent the week end with her father, Mr. J. B. Cox and family, in Syracuse, Indiana.
