How To Beat Parking Headache
Net Fans Asked To Co-Operate With College Officials During Sectional Play If you attend the Jasp«r-New-ton sectional basketball tournament in the St. Joseph’s College fieldhouse Thursday, Friday and Saturday, here is how you can avoid parking headaches: 1. Double up with other drivers. 2. Take a taxi. 3. Walk. Parking facilities at the college have been nearly doubled since last year’s tournament, according to the Rev. Edward Roof, director of athletics at St. Joseph’s. However, with soggy weather in prospect, it will be imperative that drivers follow the directions of the parking attendants. Most of the traffic, Father Roof said, will be directed into the large, new parking lot immediate south of the city limits. Overflow cars will be parked up and down highway 53. “Once again we expect to handle tournament traffic as easily and as conveniently as in the past," Father Roof said. “All that we ask is that drivers simply follow the directions given them.”
