WORLD DAY OF PRAYER, MARCH 4TH
Mrs. Frank McDaniels of Gary, Indiana, will be the main speaker at the World Day of Prayer Service at the local Methodist church Friday, March 4, at 2 p.m. Mrs. McDaniels, formerly served as Conference President of the Societies of Christian Service, of the North-West Indiana Conference, and at present is serving as Secretary of Status of Women of the North Central Jurisdiction, an area covering most of the North Central States. She will have a worth while message for everyone. Our committee, composed of representatives from a number of local churches is urging the women of the community to participate in the World Day of Prayer—to participate by your presence, your prayers and your gifts toward Interdenominational Missionary Projects in our land and in other lands. To foster the spirit of prayer, chimes will be played from the American Reformed Church at stated intervals during the day and other churches will call to moments of prayer .by the ringing of church bells.
