MRS. DAVIS WAS TAKEN
TO THE HOSPITAL IN THE TODD AMBULANCE Apparently the front wheels of the car locked after a bar on the fiont of the car broke. The abrupt stop caused the car to swerve and overturn. Mr. Davis said the " heels seemed to lock suddenly. No other car was involved. The body of the Hudson, owned by Mr. Davis, was demolished. Arthur Lageveen Jr., wrecked his car last Wednesday night, South of Goshen, Indiana, when he and three of his boy friends were returning to South Bend from a basketball game. The back of their car skidded into the path of an oncoming car when they hit a patch of ice. The boys were shaken up and received a few scratches.
