P.T.A. NEWS

The February P.T.A. meeting was held February 15, at the school auditorium and was opened by giving the saluate to the flag. The third grade was very much in evidence at this meeting as they furnished the music for the evening, singing four of their third grade numbers. Their mothers were hostesses for the evening and they won the attendance award for the month. Mrs. Zeck, the president, named the nominating committee. The names will not be up and voted on until the April meeting. The nominating committee are: Mrs. Grace Cheever, Mrs. Carl Fritts, Mrs. Beulah Hission. The sectional tournament will be held February 24-25-26 at the St. Joseph’s fieldhouse as the P.T.A. will have most of the eats stand. It is hoped that we can get enough help. If you think you

will be able to help any of the days, please let Mrs. Zeck know as soon as possible. As February 17th is the birthday of the P.T.A., Mrs. Zeck redd an article on the good the P.T.A. is doing and has done.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Van Dam spent the week-end in Chicago. They attended the Outdoor Show while there. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Mel Toppen and children left last Tuesday for a vacation in Florida.
