VAN KLEY NIEMEYER
Miss Jean Van Kley, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Arthur Van Kley of Wheatfield. Ind., and Mr. Bernard Niemeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Niemeyer of Spring Valley, California were, united in marriage, Thursday, January 27, at 7:45 p.m. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul Holtrop, at the home of the bride’s parents in the presence of relatives and friends. Miss Alice Van Hoftweigen sang “Because,” and Mrs. John Van Kley played the “Lohengrin Wedding March.” The bride wore a lovely dress of white satin, and finger tip veil of silk illusion, carrying a bouquet of white carnations. After the ceremony a chicken dinner was served and a program rendered. Miss Alice Van Hoftweigen sang “Together with Jesus,” as the last number. After a brief honeymoon in Chicago, the new Mr. and Mrs Niemeyer will make their home in Grand Rapids, Mich., where Mrs. Niemeyer *“ is employed as Secretary and Mr. Niemeyer is attending Calvin College. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dekkinga and family of Grand Rapids, Misses Ella Vander Molen, Alice Van Hoftweigen and Genevieve Steigenga, -All C-alvtn College students at Grand Rapids, Mr. Abe DeVries and Miss Rose Carlson of Chicago.
