ESTIMATES TAX TAKE

Indianapolis, Feb. 2. Walter L. Sturdevant, chief deputy of the Gross Income Tax division, estimated today collections for 1948 at approximately S7O million. Payment deadline was at midnight last night. More than 200 bags of mailed returns and some 4,000 persons swamped the tax division office yesterday.
