DEMOTTE WINS BENEFIT GAME

A large crowd attended the benefit game Saturday night between DeMotte and Speedway of Indianapolis. The game was close from start to finish with DeMotte winning in an overtime. Score 44 to 42. Frances Zeck, Treva Stangle, Florence DeYoung and Grace Cheever attended the Jasper-New-ton PTA Council meeting at Thayer Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Borman have moved from the Huhn property North of town to Michigan City, where he is employed. Miss Irene Muraida and Dick Evans were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schultz last Wednesday evening.
