Breeders Group To Meet February 1
Dr. L. M. Hutchings and Leroy G. Copelen To Address Courthouse Meeting The Jasper County Artificial Breeding Association will hold their annual meeting in the east court room in Rensselaer, Tuesday, February Ist, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dr. L. M. Hutchings of the Purdue Veterinarian Department will discuss diseases of dairy cattle as they are related to breeding and sterility. Leroy G. Coplen of the Indiana Artificial Breeding Association of Carmel, Indiana, will discuss the program of artificial insemination of dairy cattle as it is being conducted in Indiana. Mr. Coplen will also show motion pictures of the bulls being used at the Carmel Bull Stud. The program for the day: 10:00 a.m.—Leroy G. Coplen, Artificial Insemination of Dairy Cattle in Indiana. 10:45 a.m.—Dr. L. M. Hutchings, Genital Disease of Cattle as related to percentage results in Artificial Insemination of Cattle. 11:30 a.m.—Noon. 1:00 p.m.—Annual meeting of the Jasper county Artificial Breeding Association.
