Christmas day gvfests, in the Win. Jeffers home were Mr. and Mrs. Hillis Jeffers and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Jasperson and family of Wheatfield, Attorney and Mrs. John R. Jeffers of Calumet City, 111., Mr. and Mrs. Delos Shroyer of Tefft, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Jeffers of Delphi, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Keene and Mrs. Gladys Eley and son of Hammond and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowen and daughter of DeMotte. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Sanders and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Sanders of Rensselaer left Sunday a.m. for Florida for a vacation. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Ladd entertained relatives from Chicago over the holiday and week-end. Ms. Grace Payne is in Tuson, Arizona for a yisit with her daughter, Bernice and family. Christmas guests in the Mary White home were Misses Verna and Lucille White of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Allen and daughter of Danville, 111., Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ceiling and son of Springfield, 111., Mr. and Mrs. Wadby Duggleby of Tefft and Wilbur Alberding of San Pierre. A wonderful family reunion was held on Sunday in the Ed Albin home, where Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Nelson and son of Hammond, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Albin and family. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Seegrise arid family so Kankakee, Til., Mr. nad -Mi's. -Da4e Sanders and -Mrs. Amanda 'Peregrine and children gathered for a happy day with Mr. and Mrs. Irsj Albin of Sidney, Montana. Ira and Delma left Monday for their home following a 3 weeks visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jordan of Chicago spent the holiday and week-end with the E. L. Jordan and Jagoda* families. Honorable mention and praise is due Mrs. Walter Deerberg, who is Wheatfield daytime switchboard operator notified Bill Smalley of his wife’s condition. She grew weak and fainted at the telephone. We need such interest in others by everyone.
