THOMAS ABBRING OF ABBRING MOTOR SALES HONORED
Thomas Abbring, of Abbring Motor Sales, DeMotte dealer, became one of the first Ford dealers in the United States to be named a Four-Letter dealer when he was awarded a plaque recently by L. F. Judd, Indianapolis District Representative for the Ford Motor company. Four letter dealers are those who have received a superior rating in facilities, management, competitive spirit and finances. In making this award Mr. Judd said that Abbring Motor Sales has achieved an outstanding record during 1948 as a Ford dealer in DeMotte. Mr. Judd explained that this award is a distinct honor for dealers and an indication of excellent management on their part. The plaque signifying selection of Abbring Motor Sales as a Four-Letter dealer Is signed by J. R. Davis, vice-president and director of sales and advertising, Detroit; Walker A. Williams, general sales manager, Detroit; J. C. Doyle, central regional sales manager, Detroit; and D. .F. Yando, Indianapolis District Sales Manager.
