Auditor Plays Santa Claus, A Little Late

December Distribution Of Fall Tax Take Totals $287,582.62 Auditor H. Ray Wood cast himself in a Santa Claus role today sans the Kris Kringle garb to distribute $287,582.62, a sum representing the fall tax collections by the county treasurer’s office. Evidently the Auditor’s calendar is a bit off key in regard to Christmas, but nevertheless there •was no recipient who turned back the check.
