Elmer Brown Re-Elected As ACA Chairman

Township Delegates Return Incumbent To Seat As Ag Conservation Leader Elmer Brown of Marion Township was re-elected Saturday, December 11, by the ballot of the j township delegates to the position of Chairman of the Jasper County Agricultural Conservation Committee. servation Committee. Also re-elected to their posts of vice-chairman and third member of the committee, respectively, were Howard Schultz of Union Township and Casper Belstra of Keener Township. Miss Lovell List who has served as secretary-treasurer of the Association for the past five months was re-appointed to the position. The township delegates were elected during the last two weeks preparatory to the ballot held Saturday for which they served as electors. Their terms begin immediately. Mr. Brown announced the results of the Community committee elections as follows: Barkley Township: James Britt, Harry Britt, Walter Brown; alternates, Geo. Hoeferlin and Earl Barkley. Carpenter Township: Harold B. Fox, Harvey Rowlands, A Cooper; alternates, H. V. Hensler and Loyd Jones.
