NORTHERN INDIANA PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY DECLARES STOCK DIVIDEND

Hammond, Ind., Dec. 2. The board of directors of Northern Indiana Public Service Company has declared a dividend of 30 cents per share on the common stock, it was announced today by Dean H. Mitchell, president. The dividend is payable December 20, 1948, tp\ shareholders of record at the close of business December 2, 1948. Mr. Mitchell said that the board of directors also" declared a dividend of 22 1 o cents per' share on the per cent cumulative preference stock of the company,' payable December 30, 1948, to shareholders of record at the close of business December 14, 1948.
