C. E. BUSH FALLS FROM SCAFFOLDING, INJURED

C. E. Bush of DeMotte was injured seriously Wednesday afternoon about 2:30, when he fell from some scaffolding while working in the construction of a house for Henry Van Wienen. Mr. Bush was taken to the Jasper county hospital at Rensselaer, where examination showed he had suffered spinal injuries. A specialist was called who performed an operation on his spine Wednesday night. At last report, the patient responded well to the operation, and it is thought the paralysis he was struck with as a result of the fall, will be cured. The Van Wienen house under Construction is located about IVz blocks north of the New York Central railroad tracks on the west side of the highway.
