STREET LIGHTS

Monday evening. October 25, delegates from various civic organizations and churches in DeMotte met with members of the Lions Club. Street lighting was discussed and plans were made to have all organization aid the Lions in getting this project started at once. Blueprints showing locations of the lights will be on display in various business houses soon and any question concerning the project &ill gladly be answered by any Lion member. It is our sincere hope that the entire community will back up this project and give us the moral and financial help that will be needed. Street lights in DeMotte will give us the Safety factor that we are striving so hard to achieve and will make our town a better one to live in—and remember: “Whatever benefits our town also benefits the people who live in it.”
