KANSAS VISITORS ARRIVE—LEAVE

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wise of Paola, Kansas, came to Rensselaer Tuesday afternoon. They brought with them Mrs. William Oeschger, mother of Mrs. Wise, and their son, Billy. The Wise family was in Rensselaer only a short time, leaving for Paola Wednesday. Mr. Wise is in charge of one of the Phillips Petroleum company’s oil pumping stations near Paola. Mrs. Oeschger had a delightful visit in Paola. Mrs. Robert Hurley of Rensselaer spent Tuesday and Wednesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Running. Mrs. Helen Melchart was a Chicago shopper last Thursday.

The Young Woman’s Circle of the Woman’s Society of Christian Service will meet Monday evening, November Ist with Mrs. Helen Watson. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Van Wienon and daughters spent from Thursday to Sunday visiting in Southern Indiana. They visited the Fred Cheevers while there. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tomkins, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Willands, Mrs. Ida Baker and Mr. Emmence Baker of Chicago visited Mr. and

Mrs. John Felthouse Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Chappell and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Chappell Jr., and sons, Don and Norman visited friends in LaPorte Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Tuesley and daughters of Mishawaka visited over the week-end in the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Bauman.
