SCHOOL CARNIVAL OCTOBER 29
The Hallowe’en Carnival held annually at the DeMotte school is scheduled for Friday night, October 29. There will be fun galore for all, with activities to suit the tastes of everyone. There will be bingo for those who like it, cakewalks and food for the hungry, movies, basketball and football throws, spill the milk, ring the duck, a spook house, etc. There will be prizes for the most cleverly masked children. Highlighting the Carnival will be the crowning of the King and Queen. Each class in High School and Junior High School has chosen two candidates, a boy and a girl, whose names are as follow’s : v Grade 7 Luanne Unzicker and Bob Fase. Grade 8 Lillian Kingma and Frank Gross. / Grade 9 Janet Hammerton and Sweeter Wright. Grade 10 Evelyn Sigler and John Fase. Grade 11 Edna DeFries and Marty Hoffman. Grade 12 Ruth Carter and Don Fieldhouse. Don’t forget to attend and see the crowning of the King and Queen. Votes are a penny each. Each penny counts, so don’t forget to back your favorite- candidate.
