The DeMotte American Legion Post 440 will hold their regular meeting Monday evening, October 18 at the school house. All former members of the Legion basketball team are urged to be present. The American Legion Junior Auxiliary will hold a bake sale at DeKock’s Store Saturday, October 16. Dairymen to meet at Mary’s Restaurant Monday evening, October 18 at 8 o’clock. Volunteer Firemen to be hosts to Association at Mary’s Restaurant, Tuesday Oct. 19. American Legion Auxiliary DeMotte Unit 440 Executive Board meeting Tuesday, October 19, 2 p.m. at the home of Johanna DeYoung. Unit officers and chairman please attend. P.T.A. Regional meeting at Hammond, Wednesday, October 20 at 9:30 a.m. Cub Scout Pack meeting will be held Monday evening, October 18 at the school house. This meeting will be a Hallowe’en party. Parents and friends are especially invited.
