DAIRYMEN TO MEET OCTOBER 18
Plans arc being: made by local dairymen to attend a meeting at Mary’s Restaurant here in DeMotte Monday evening, October 18th at 8 o’clock. Mr. F. I. Reiners, manager of the Livestock Concentrate Department, of Ultra-Life Laboratories, Inc., will be the principle speaker. Mr. Reiners will cover many topics in the field of dairying such as: Breeding failures, nutritional abortion, abnormal milk, drops in milk flow and scours. Dairymen, plan to attend this meeting, regardless of the number of cows you own, even though you are having no trouble in your herd at the present time. You will find this talk very interesting and informative. A discussion period will be held for any specific questions you may wish to ask. Three door prizes will be given, and refreshments will be served through the courtesy of the DeMotte Feed Sales and Service. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Pierson of Chicago visited the Marven Kessingers last Friday evening. Mis. Margaret Rowen and daughter of New Richmond, Ohio visited relatives here over the week-end.
