William Jeffers of Tefft celebrated his birthday on. Saturday, October 2, with a sevien o’clock dinner. He received many nice gifts. The center of attraction was the beautifully decorated birthday cake presented hy Mr. and Mrs. William Rowen of DeMotte. Those who helped celebrate their fathers’ birthday were Mrs. Bernice Keene and daughter, Miss Yolovda, Mrs. Gladys Eley and son, Denny of Hammond, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jeffers and son Freddy, LaCrosse, Mr. and Mrs. Hills Jeffers and son Eldon, Wheatfield, Mr. and Mrs. Delos Shroyer, Tefft and Mr. and Mrs. William Rowen and daughter, Susan Lou, of DeMotte.
