MISS MILDRED COX BRIDE OF WALTER BORMANN
Miss Mildred Cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Cox, of Shelby, Indiana, became the bride of Mr. Walter Borman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Borman, of Southeast of town, Saturday, September 4th at 3:30 p.m. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E. I. Worley, at the Christian church parsonage in Lowell, before members of the immediate families of the couple. The bride’s father was unable to attend because of injuries received in an auto accident a few days before the wedding. The bride was lovely in a street length dress of royal blue crepe. She wore a corsage of red roses and white mums. Miss Carol Dougals of Hebron was maid of honor. She wore a brown crepe street length dress with a corsage of yellow roses. Alvin Bormann, brother of the bridegroom was best man. Mr. and Mrs. Bormann are at home to their many friends in the Huhn property Northeast of town. Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bormann held a shower in their honor at the home of Melva Barker Jr., Saturday evening.
