and Mrs. Roy Kelsey of Gary visited Dr. and Mrs. Tate Saturday. Robert Boswinkle Jr., of Hampton, Va., is spending a week with his parents. Thayer was well represented at tfte Newton County Fair at Kentland Friday. Mrs. Mary Fuller is spending

a week with relatives in Goodland. The Thayer Boosters and Boosterettes won both games played at Lowell Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. A 1 Ewart took Mary Lou to South Bend Sunday, where she is teaching Home Ec., this school term.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Van Wienen and children and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bush and daughters spent Thursday afternoon at Bass Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Rich Kiersma and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cheever and Carol motored around Lake Michigan last week.
