DeMotte To Open Grid Season Friday

Indians Will Break Open Campaign At Home With Wheatfield As Opposition The DeMotte high school Indians will break open their sixman football team campaign tomorrow, Friday night, on their home grounds with Wheatfield’s Red Devils furnishing the opposition. A large and promising squad of candidates reported to Coach William Jones three weeks ago. Daily drills have been held since that time. Candidates for the team are Robert Moolenaar, Ed Lanting, Denzil Barker, Jack Fritts, Kenneth Heimlich, Robert Coffer, James Kingma, Paul Kaluf, Marty Hoffman, Fred Boissey, James Coffer, Harold Jabaay, Harry Kaper, Mahlon Grevenstuk, Bob Nanenga, John Klip, Bob Kelley, Carey Hixson, Russell Hunter, John Fase and Ralph DeKock. The game will start at 7:30 o’clock Standard Time.
