THAYER WINS SOFTBALL TOURNEY

Thayer won the softball tourney here last Saturday night by defeating the Rensselaer Sip and Bite team by a score of 7 to 0. Rensselaer went into the finals by defeating Remington 12 to 2. In the other semi-final game Thayer defeated DeMotte 1 to 0 in one of the best games ever seen in this section. Thayer's one run was made in the sixth inning. DeMotte got two hits off Pritchett while Thayer got three off Kingma. In the four games he pitched, Pritchett of Thayer, allowed only five hits and shut out the opposing teams in all four games. ■were the outstanding team of the tourney with DeMotte a close second.
