Hanging Grove Youth Takes Top Honor In J a §per County Fair Swine Show The Grand Campaign Barrow of the Jasper County 4-H club pig show was the 204 pounds Chester white shown by James Swing of Hanging Grove Township. The champion 4-H club litter was a Chester white litter shown by Patricia Hite of Barkley township. Both Swing and Hite will receive sl2 toward expenses on a weeks stay at the Indiana State Fair providing they show their pigs at the State Fair. James Swing will also receive a special award of $5 awarded by the Indiana Chester White Swine Breeders Association. In the light weight barrow show the placings were: Poland China, blue ribbon, Donald Corbin; red ribbon group, Joe Richardson, Richard Jordan and John Feleki. Chester Whites: Blue ribbon, Lawson Waling; red ribbon group, Duane Houston, Patricia Zimmer and Frank Zimmer and Dean Houston in white ribbon group. Hampshire: blue ribbon group, Carol Unzicker, Red ribbon, Marvin Jordan, and Jack Luck, White ribbon, Robert Peterson. Spotted Poland: Blue ribbons, Robert Wuerthner and Harold Kohley; red ribbon, Jim Feleki, Arlene Geren and Rex Wuerthner. Duroc Jersey: Blue ribbon, Marvin Alberts, Ififed, Leroy Torbet, White, Ronald Kaufman. Hereford: Blue ribbon, Cletus Daugherty. In the heavy weight barrow show (180 pounds and over) the placings were: Poland China, Blue ribbon, Harvey Jordan; red ribbon, Carol Culp, David Jordan, Marcia Jordan, and John Feleki. Chester Whites: Blue ribbbn, James Swing, Allen Grube, and Patricia Hite. Red, Norma Hite, Frank Zimmer and Firman Pettet. Hampshire: Blue ribbon, Frank Zickman; red, Andy Zickmau, Luann Unzicker, Wm. Unzicker, Marvin Jordan and Jack Luck. Spotted Poland: blue ribbon, Harold Kohley, Rex Wuerthner, Robert Wuerthner, and Ed Kohley. Bed ribbon, Jim Feleki. Duroc Jersey; blue ribbon, Robert Odom and Dennis Brandenberg, i;ed, Bill Miller, Dale Bricker and Neil Ramey; White, Dallas List and Jack Stevens. Berkshire:. Blue, Jim Clarke. In the class of Pen of Three Barrows all bred light weight, the following placings were made: Blue, Frank Zimmer, Patricia Hite; red ribbon, Duane Houston and John Feleki; White, Donald Corbin, Arlene Geren, Dean Houston and Cletus Daugherty.
