Mr. and Mrs. James Freidlander of Chicago and DeMotte have purchased the Rob Jones place one half mile east of DeMotte. Mr. and Mrs. Jones and family plan to leave July 28 for Coffee county, Tennessee, where they will visit Mr. Jones parents. They may A purchase property and remain in Tennessee. Mr. Freidlander formerly worked in the meat department of the H. C. DeKock and Sons store here. He and Mrs. Freidlander owned property Southeast of town at that time. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hoehn of Wheatfield have purchased the Gus Lissau property in the West part of town, now occupied by the Lissau’s.
