CAROLYN BASS ATTENDING SUMMER SCHOOL AT INDIANA STATE
Enrollment for the summer sessions at Indiana State Teachers College is still on the increase with a total of 1758 students registered for the present term, according to a recent announcement from the Registrar’s offide. This figure tops the 1947 summer session total enrollment by 52 students. An increase is also shown in the number of veterans attending college this summer with 918 enrolled compared with 884 last summer. The number in graduate school remains approximately the same with 354 students working toward graduate degrees this summer while 355 were enrolled last year. Local students from this area attending summer school at Indiana State include: Miss Carolyn Bass, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Bass.
