SQUIRREL OPEN SEASON AUGUST 14 TO OCTOBER 12
The open season for fox squirrel and gray squirrel for the entire state of Indiana for the year of 1948 shall be from the 14th day of August to the 12th day of October inclusive, according to an announcement made by John H. Nigh, director of Indiana Department of Conservation. It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot, kill, take or possess in the State more than five squirrels in any one day during the open season designated herein. This rule shall be effective for the year 1948 only. It shall become effective August 10th, 1948.
