CATTLE PRICES OFF

Chicago, July 14. Hog and cattle prices eased off somewhat in the Midwest today, halting a record-breaking spiral. Wholesale meat prices, however, continued to advance in New York where supplies of all grades and types of meat were scarce. A large grocery chain at Atlanta,~Ga., jumped retail l>eef prices 10 cents a pound and five to six cents a pound on other types, reflecting the boost in Wholesale prices.
