Mr. and Mrs. Leßoy McDermitt of Chicago are the proud parents of a baby boy born June 28 at Grant Hospital in Chicago. He weighed 6 lbs. 51-j ozs., and has been named David. Mrs. McDermitt is the former Roberta Stevenson, daughter of Mrs. Cora Stevenson. She graduated from nurses training at Grant hospital with the October, 1947 class. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Belstra became the parents of a baby boy Thursday, July Ist. He was born at Jasper county hospital and answers to the name of Joel. Mrs. Belstra is the former Eileen Bailey.
