DeMotte Man Found Dead On Porch

Clyde (“Curley”) Yeagley Dies Of Heart Attack During Night; Services Monday Clyde (“Curley”) Yeager, 60, of here was found lifeless on the porch of the home of Harry Van Weinan of Demotte this morning. The Coroner’s inquest determined death was due to a heart attack w’hich came as Mr. Yeagley was returning to his home. Mr. Yeagley was l>orn in Sauneman,- 111., June 14, 1888, the son of James K. and Sarah (Ridinger) Yeagley. He was unmarried. Mr. Yeagley lived in DeMotte where practically all of his lifetime was spent working at odd jobs. Surviving is a brother, Ward of DeMotte, and a sister, Mrs. Mabel M. Myers of Parr. Mr. Yeagley was a World War veteran and a member of DeMotte Legion Post. Funeral services were conducted from Todd’s Chapel in DeMotte at 2 o’clock Monday, with the Rev. J. J. Moore in charge. Burial was at DeMotte cemetery.
